tHe tRiP beGINs.... HeRe....

Ladies N Gentlemen.... I am Backkk!!!!!... as the name suggest's yup its the Valley of Flowers... where i went this past weekend...

it was a 5 day trip starting from delhi... which involved heavy rains... land slides... fogs n mist... lotsa beautiful flowers... a few firangis... fantastic soup... lotsa Sardarji's....delays....smilles.. 15 Kg trekkin luggage....beautiful landscapes n huge mountains... ohhh!!!!!!!! n damn it... how can one foget the gruelin pain after all this... but trust me its all worth it...

[NOTE]: Pictures not taken from my camera... So Myself and Vivek share the appreciation of Photography; I called him thePanaroma master n he Called me the Macro Mode master....

Let me give yu the schedule...

Friday Evenin: Delhi--> Haridwar

Saturday: Haridwar--> Rudraprayag-->Gobindghat... Overnight Stay

Sunday: Walking Gobindghat --> Ghangria always climbing overnight stay..

Monday: Ghangria--> Valley--> Ghangria--> Gobindghat= 12+14 km... Tired in Night

Tuesday: Gobindghat--> Rishikesh-->Delhi

Wednesday Morning: On my Toilet Seat.... AaaaaaaHHhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!! Ohhh Yeaaaahhhh..

As usual Journey had to start up wit a screw up... wen we reached haridwar sme said.. its a road block ahead sme said... no vehicles are goin to Gobindghat... Damn.. we hired a Sumo..n thought "Jo hoga Dekha Jaayega" we will cope wit wateva happens... n there we go....

ohh!!!!! wait a minute... me dint go alone... Was Vivek Pankaj n me......from Left to right in the pic..

we had only started to reaclize we HUNGRY... so we stopped at the road side Dhaba..

Aloo de Paraathee ne Mattar di Sabzi... hai hai.... tooo good...

we reached Dev Prayag... Were Alaknanda meets Bhagirati to form Ganga.....

too excited i was huh!!!!!!

well ... on the way...close to Chamoli... was this beautiful Waterfall....

and the Kiddo Swimmin....

the Great Himalayas.... they really Huge....

Vivek Sharma.... too fast too efficient.. dint take him much to attract the kiddos...

and the Roads were Good.....

Finally we reached Gobindghat... had a goodnight Sleep... woke up early... tryin to avoid rains we started early..... on the bridge.... to cross the Mighty Alaknanda... to walk to Ghangria...

Beautiful stream we walk along with....

and the waterfalls... soo common of mountains in heavy rains...

Broken Trees... damn it sounds more like Broken Arrow... remb John Travolta in the movie... was good.
As i said... it dint take us much time to realize that "Dude u cant Escape rains in Himalayas in Sawan Ka Mahina" We in our Beautiful Raincoats...a plastic Bag... actually....

and the Rain Dance had to folllow.....

well ..... no prizes for guessin what vivek exactly is trying to do....

yu thought we looked funny in our raincoats.... then check them out......

walkin..walkin... our conditions were tight... pankaj had pulled his muscle.. i was tired... n vivek was climbing.... yeah...Ghangria jus 3km away....

and the place were we stayed....

Now then.... do yu remember in begning i spoke bout SOUPS.....

Chek it out... HOt-n-Sour Soup... this guys use to make it supremely awesomely... it use to recharge yu like anything.... kickin out the chill.... yum yum...

We slept that night... early morning expecting the rains to calm down.... cos it poured in night..... n trust me... sky was open in morning.... wen we entered the Valley of flowers....

theres sme injustice down here.... we indians pay 50 buks to enter in while Firangis hav to pay 350.... but damn...

now... jus the beautiful mountains...

n then i Met Jerry.... the Mouse... cute he was....

remember the Firangis... we were acompanied by two of them a scared Japanese lady... whos name i dint knew... and a Italian beauty... Sabina.... all walkin towards the valley....

V for Valley...... V-Shaped Valley......

Okay Guys im not a botanist... so pls dont ask me which flower wats the name... i know nothin.... yup dont expect ne rarer species of flowers... all were washed out by the heavy rains... but still the trip was worth every single burnt calorie......

well.... Sadhu Babas reading Newspaper... guess it was English.... so they Literate...

its a small temple....

that evening wen we returned to Gobindghat... yu should hav seen us limping./...........

Next morning... all three of us ready to leave.... witout knowing the mountain of problems we gonna face....

see happy us....

First Problem...Landsides n Road Blocks....

Second Major Problem... Self Obbsessed people... ... well we shared our Sumo..nn we had to share it with these three people.... They were like non stop Blabbering... eatin our head..drivers head... delayed out stoppages at dhabas.... n lot more.... "Amritsar... No 1 hai ji No 1".. the made Amritsar sound like the best place to live in this world.....

Finally i was Happy when we reached Rishikesh......

But Damn...Problem Did not end there...when we reached rishikesh it was pouring heavy... our drivers car had Wipers which were not working.... one tyre was flat.... sme how we reached rishikesh.. boarded a bus to Delhi... to get trapped in Floods... the a Fallen tree had to make us wait...

It took us God Damn 5hrs.. to travel 26 km........ from Rishikesh to Haridwar.... and what nex... we slept peacefully after that to wake up alive in Delhi on the Dawn of INDEPENDENCE DAY....

A breathtaking trip.... all its money worth... with the final garnishing... an icing on the cake...

Here i come to an end of yet another blog.... thankyou friends for all your patience... n appreciation...which makes me write one after another blog...
